PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE
I am currently the principal hornist with the Inland Valley Symphony, the Coachella Valley Symphony, and the i.e. Brass ensemble. I frequently freelance with other ensembles around southern California. And I greatly enjoy performing as a soloist.
Through the years I have played principal horn with the West Covina Symphony, the Glendale Chamber Symphony, and the COTA Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Riverside Lyric Opera and the Starlight of Kern. I was a founding member of the Los Angeles Horn Quartet with the late Calvin Smith (a terrific horn player and a great friend), along with James Thatcher, Warren Gref, and later Joe Meyer.
From time to time I serve as a clinician or give master classes on horn performance and brass playing.
